Privacy Policy

Playera is a product of Momentup, based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us any time at privacy@playera.club.

• Account data: name, email, and (if you set one) a profile photo.
• Team data: teams, players, events, RSVPs, ratings, formations, session plans and messages you create.
• Content you upload: photos, video and files added to team moments or chats.
• Technical data: standard log data (IP, browser, device) used to keep the service running and secure.

To operate Playera: showing you your team, sending event notifications, generating match reports from the inputs you provide, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell your data, and we don't run third-party advertising against it.

Playera is used by grassroots youth teams. Player profiles, ratings and photos are created and managed by the coaching staff and parents responsible for that child. Parents can request changes or deletion of a child's data at any time - email privacy@playera.club or ask the team's coach.

Children under 13 do not hold their own Playera account. A child's record is created by the team's coaching staff and controlled by a verified parent or guardian, who provides consent on the child's behalf. Guardians can review everything held about their child from their account settings.

Photo and video consent: each child has a photo-consent setting, managed by their guardian. When consent is not given, that child is excluded from team moments and shared galleries, and coaches are told not to upload media featuring them.

For safeguarding or child-protection concerns, email safeguarding@playera.club and we'll respond within one working day.

• Account data: kept while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of you deleting the account.
• Player records, events and reports: kept while the team is active. Deleted teams and players are removed within 30 days.
• Photos and video: deleted immediately when removed by the uploader, a coach or a guardian; otherwise kept with the team.
• Messages: kept for the life of the team channel.
• Technical logs: kept for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting.

We share data with the service providers that make Playera work (hosting, database, authentication, email, AI model providers for match-report generation). We only share what's needed to run those services and require them to keep your data secure.

You can access, correct, export or delete your account data at any time from your account settings, or by emailing privacy@playera.club. Under UK GDPR you also have the right to complain to the ICO.

When we make material changes to this policy we'll notify active users by email or in-app. Continued use of Playera after a change means you accept the updated policy.
