We're parents and coaches who kept saying 'there has to be a better way.' Playera is that way.
Grassroots football runs on volunteers. Coaches with day jobs. Parents with three kids and a boot bag in the boot. Managers with a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group and a very patient partner.
Every existing app either felt built for pro clubs, or was really a group chat with fixtures tacked on. Nothing felt made for the actual Sunday-morning rhythm of a real under-9s team.
So we started building Playera. A calm home for the whole team. Simple enough that a parent can find kick-off in two taps. Powerful enough that a coach can plan a season in an evening.
